I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. For the price, this shower head is perfect. We were in an apt with an old shower head that had barely any water pressure. More like a leaky faucet. We found this shower head and the box said "up to 30% water pressure boost" so we tried it. The difference is night and day. Installation was a snap and we had instant water pressure that reached the other side of the tub (shower/tub combo). We then moved to another apt and took this shower head with us (put the old crappy one back on at the old place). Same story! Couldn't be happier! see less

I have serious iron and rust in my well water and these filters cut back on the orange stain on my white shower. I can tell when I need to replace them because I can feel a diiference in my hair. So I know they are doing good for my skin and hair aswell. They are great for people with well water AND Target shipping is so fast they were here in [...] days after I ordered them. I love Target! Long Beach water has its parts to have really heavy lead and you pretty much have a hard time to avoid due to the smell. Buying these filters helps reduce the smell and the amount of lead. So yeah these filters to their job...too bad you have to change them every 3 months. see less

I recently bought this shower head and immediately saw fantastic results. It leaves your skin and hair feeling very smooth and soft. I would purchase different shampoos but my hair would always end up feeling greasy. After I used this shower head my hair is a lot softer without being greasy. Drinking filtered water is just as important as taking a shower in filtered water. It's super easy to install that a kid could put it together. I have recommended this product to everyone. see less

I tried two different units, thinking one might have been defective, and both leaked terribly. I've installed several shower heads before and never have had this much trouble securing the connections. It seemed to be leaking from a factory joint - not an installation joint. I tried both with and without pipe tape (the package indicates tape is not necessary) and still couldn't stop the leaking. Too much frustration and ended up returning it anyway - not worth it! see less

Found a story in Marie Claire about how minerals strip the color from your hair (not an inexpensive problem) and how this shower head helps strip some of the chlorine and other minerals. And it works --- could tell the first day a difference in the water texture and smell!Just a caveat when you turn it on -- it takes a while to get the water pressure built up, but once it's up to speed it's like a rainshower. Looking at all the handheld shower heads and remembering that I'm buying on a budget this one looked to be a great choice. It is great and the many setting are wonderful. I have been having a problem with the washers that came with it. Maybe they are too thin or something but it looks like i will have to replace them or everytime it gets loose water will be all over my bathroom. it was easy to put together and other than the washers I havent had any problems. I would suggest this item to someone looking to buy. see less

We never even got to use the shower head. Upon installation the plastic fitting was cracked and squirted water everywhere except where we wanted it. Some things should not be plastic, including water pipe fittings. see less

I agree with the other reviewer than the plastic coupling isn't super sturdy and I need to buy a new one myself, but I'm not disappointed in getting two years worth of use for only $20. Three days of use and the cheap plastic coupling connected to a metal shower nozzle failed and started spraying the walls.Would not recommend to anyone that likes to adjust the shower head (up/down/left/right) because the cheap plastic screw coupling WILL fail. I should have known, metal against metal is the ONLY way to go. I want my [$] back. see less

I really like this shower head. The water pressure is ideal using the wide, gentle spray and the narrow, strong spray. The shower head was easy to install, also. The only con is that it doesn't include a hose, so it's hard to spray the curtains to get soap off them. But since the spray doesn't go all over the place, that's hardly ever an issue. see less

I recently purchased this because I have a wall mount shower but I wanted a rain shower in a ceiling mount position, this fit the bill and gave a vertical rain shower without construction. One thing I think I should point out is other sites that sell this shower head list the flow rate at 2.5 gpm as long as you don't remove the flow restrictor. The water pressure seems fine with the restrictor in so it uses the same amount of water as other standard heads. Only complaint so far is a wider head would provide a even more body covering shower but it is a great option for the price with super easy install. see less

This showerhead may have been easy to install, but it has been nothing but problems for me. It rarely stays in the adjusted position, swinging around and either hitting me in the head or spraying water all over the place. Because of the material the hose portion is made of, it tore quikly and caused the water to stream out, taking away the water pressure from the main head. see less

I ordered the Culligan Handheld Filtered Showerhead to replace my current one. I was a bit nervous at first because this one was priced [so low]. The one I had before was almost twice the price of this one. However I decided to give it a try. I will have to say I am very satisfied with it. We could tell a big difference with our water. It's chrome and so is the hose that goes it. The hose is not a cheap plastic with silver tape around it like I have seen before in some shower heads. I would recommend it. Also the filter is replaceable, easily to locate and change. A big plus is that it doesn't cost that much so its very affordable to maintain. It works for our family who is very sensitive to the harmful chemicals in water. see less

The mount for the shower ... see more

The mount for the shower head cracked the second twist around the shower pipe. So being thrifty I used some extra plumbers tape to help tighten and cover the crack. Finished assembling the shower head to the hose and when I attached it the weight of the shower head was too much and it slammed forward causing it to smash on the shower floor. So I tightend the thread up as tight as it could go and found that no matter how tight i got it it would always casue the shower head to droop where not adult could sucessfully shower in the stream of the water. So a trip to the hardware store and $22 more I have a great shower now. I just wished I would have purchased the better one in the first place and saved myself some time. see less

This shower head is fantastic. i was shopping at both (other retail store) and Target for just the right product. I wanted one that had multiple settings, was easy to put up (I'm clueless about home repair) and was also handheld.If there is a negative it's that neither the packaging or this website stated how wonderful this product is. It says there are 7 settings, but nowhere does it say what those 7 settings are.As near as I can figure out, there is one for regular shower, one for full body massage, one for pulse massage, one for economical water pressure (ie, hardly any). Not sure what the other three are. One seemed like a rainshower mode.In any case, I loved it. It is exactly what I wanted. The previous review said that there was no water pressure at all, but I did not find that to be the case, at all. It's fantastic water pressure. And it's sincerely the best shower head I've used in years.I was also wondering about the elliptical shape of the head (for cleaning those private parts), but it actually works very well, and I feel thoroughly clean afterwards. I've used this Moen rainshower and handshower in my master shower for the last 3-4 years. I was very surprised to read any negative reviews because I have had nothing but good experiences with it. My kids actually fight to use my shower because they love the rainshower so much more than their regular showerhead in their own bathroom. The rainshower's wide spray coverage makes me feel warmer in the shower because more of my body is covered with water than with a traditional narrow shower stream. The rainshower also easiily pivots up for my much taller husband. I only use the handheld to clean the shower and my dog. Both rainshower and handdheld can run individually or at the same time by rotating a knob at the top. Spray pressure is fine with both running at same time, so unless your pressure stinks, this is not a concern. Installation was easy,if you have a tall husband. Anyway, love my showerhead enough that I took the time to write a rebuttal to the negative review below. see less

[...] This one has a lot more pressure in the rain shower and the hand held is very easy to change settings which is great if you wash your doggies in the tub like I do, a hand held shower head is a must. I've always wanted a rain type shower head and this one combined that with the normal type of shower head that the hubby likes so I thought it would be perfect. Well, if you do really want to have a mild rain fall on you then you might like this one. I'm not big on a very hard/strong shower experience but even this was too mild for me. It took much, much longer to get clean than the previous cheap and falling apart one we had. It also doesn't fully go to top or bottom or both well at all. If you choose either top or bottom alone the other side still dribbles out and even then the pressure is low. If you choose both top and bottom at the same time it's very weak. Overall I do not like this shower head and would not recommend this one to anyone who likes any kind of pressure. see less

When I first purchased the wall mount version of this shower head, I was reluctant to use the water-saving switch that reduces the water flow to what the manufacturer calls a trickle, or a naval shower. I should've been using it all along. Contrary to what a lot of people say, the trickle is just enough water to keep you warm, even on the coldest days, while giving you just enough water to soap up and scrub. Because the reduced flow isn't enough to wash everything away, you only need to load up your scrubby once, not only saving you water, but body wash as well. This is the ideal shower head for people who hate waste. see less
