Abdullah's Bear Needs a Name! - by Yasmin Hanif (Hardcover)

Book Synopsis

Abdullah has to guess the name of his new teddy in this sweet but powerful story about celebrating your cultural heritage.

One of Abdullah's Eid presents is a cuddly teddy bear. The bear used to belong to Abdullah's dad, his abba, and it has a name, but Abba won't say what it is.

Abdullah's siblings, friends and classmates all have suggestions - Bertie, Katie, Olivia, Edward - but none of them feels right. Then one night after hearing a family story from Pakistan, Abdullah has an idea - maybe the bear has a name from his own culture!
