A: INTELLIFRESH™ (the brand of) SILVADUR™ (the antimicrobial products applied to fabrics). Sivadur is a silver ion polymer technology. From what I read, it last through many (about 50) washings!

These mats look nice, but they are not functional. They are made of some sort of recycled plastic and are slippery when you walk on them. They also don’t absorb water, so when you step out of the shower onto them, and then onto the bathroom floor, your feet are still wet, which, again, makes it easy to slip.

Do Better, Threshold.
There are few luxuries greater than stepping onto a soft, absorbent rug after a nice warm shower in the middle of winter. unfortunately, this rug completely misses the mark. The shag material not hold has an extremely synthetic touch, it fails to absorb water! The only saving grace for this rug is that the non-slip backing is black (unlike the black quick drying mats which show white rubber in the areas without piles) and the fabric seems to be odor resistant. Threshold used to be an affordable luxury - Now you're getting Room Essentials quality without the savings.
