Tastes Burnt
Do not buy this. It tastes like scorched soil and gave my dish a wretched burnt flavor. I threw it out immediately. Use a quality brand and save your money. This cumin brand belongs in the trash.

Unfortunately the item I received is no longer “certified” gluten free as it shows in the picture. The company has recently changed their practices and it now just says “gluten free”, but is not certified.

yuck!
i ALSO can't believe i'm writing a review on cumin but this stuff is the worst cumin out there...it has a very weak and watery taste....completely lacks the warmth and robust flavor of cumin. i am dying to know why its so awful!

They didn’t have anything else in stock so I bought this because I needed it ASAP. Tastes weird. Didn’t like it at all and not like the cumin I usually buy. Ended out buying different brand online and throwing out this one.

Can't believe I'm writing a review on Cumin, but..
This stuff doesn't smell or taste like cumin. Immediately checked the expiration date upon opening because it smelled so stale/off. It doesn't expire until 2022, so I'm guessing this is just the brand. Went ahead and used it anyway because it was all I had and figured it couldn't be *that* bad. Boy was I wrong. The extra dollar for a better brand is absolutely worth it.
