Plastic bobbins don't work as well as metal bobbin

The plastic bobbins don't work well. They make my thread wonky.. I would like more of the metal bobbins that came with my machine! Brother XR9550PRW

Documentation is incorrect

The documentation for my 3 Brother machines indicates that all 3 machines should use the SA156 bobbins. The packaging on the bobbins I bought at the sewing machine dealer store listed all 3 machines in the list of machines the SA156 would work with. The bobbins only worked on one of my machines. After a lot of research, I think that 2 of my machines probably need the SA-155 bobbins. This is NO WHERE in Brother's documentation.

Is there a bad batch? Were they packaged wrong?

In late August my husband bought these at the store where we bought my Dream Machine. They ruined everything! The wedding lace I was making, needles, my plate. Ugh. When I switched back to my one old bobbin things ran smoothly again. What happened?
