Not content to play ocnjunto music as it was already being played, Paulino Bernal introduced new vocal harmonies and played the accordion as it had never been played before. From the first gig on, El Conjunto Bernal quickly gained a loyal following throughout south Texas as simply the best, most innovative, and modern conjunto. Made between 1954 and 1960, there are Paulino's first recordings.
