All pipes and fittings are coated in a light industrial grease to prevent rust. We highly recommend cleaning and sealing each piece before assembly to keep them rust-free, as sealing with a polyurethane spray will protect against rust and scratches. The assembled lamp stands 17.5 inches tall but can be made taller by adjusting the pipes and fittings. The kit includes all necessary pipes, fittings, a swag kit, and assembly instructions; the lightbulb is not included. The included socket fits most incandescent, CFL, and LED bulbs with a standard E26 or E27 base. The swag kit features an attached high-to-low dimmer, supports a maximum of 60 watts, includes 11 feet of cord, and uses an easy-to-install push-connect design. The pipe is made from welded schedule 40 steel, with a final color that may vary from dark gray to black, and features our exclusive patented 5-way fitting.
