    Reat the ingredients! NOT clean or "healthy".

    Beware, this cottage cheese is NOT "healthy". Ingredients changed and is now processed yuck and preservatives. It is not a clean, healthy, whole food. So discouraged to buy Good & Gather product line anymore, as well as shop at Target in general for going this direction. Of most concern, is the addition of carageenan, known to be cancer causing and also an ingredient that causes digestive issues.

    Expired items in your pick up order

    Unfortunately, this was replaced with my originally ordered good culture cottage cheese. I bought 8 small, 5 oz single serve cottages cheese by good culture and they replaced with 8 large 24 oz good and gather brand cottage cheese that were expired. We didn't notice until after the fact, but had expired 4 days before my order was placed! I called target customer service and they refunded me. I thought they would give us a discount toward a new order as my husband felt sick from this cottage cheese. Nothing! I also spent 20 mins of my time just talking to someone about this. I may be reconsidering being a target customer.

    WARNING the ingrediants changed!!!

    The ingredients list changed with NO warning! This cottage cheese is now full of a bunch of junk and preservatives. It used to be clean enough to feed to my baby. See the attached pictures. One I bought a month ago and one I bought today and then returned. I am so sad since I have been recommending to all my family and friends as an affordable clean option without carageenan in it. Carageenan causes digestive issues and there is some evidence that it may be a carcinogen. Not only does is now contain carageenan but also polysorbate and mono and di glycerides.

    New recipe now includes 3 High Risk Additives!

    The 2% G&G cottage cheese used to be a staple for me and had “excellent” ratings in the Yuka app that checks products for various qualities. This now includes 3 “high risk” additives–carrageenan, polyethylene sorbitan monodeate, and mono +diglycerides of fatty acids. These are all texturizing agents that don’t seem to help with the soupiness of this product. They are known carcinogenics, disruptive to the gut, can cause intestinal inflammation and cardiovascular disease. Why did you change a healthy product and give us one that clearly is not? I can no longer trust the G&G brand.

    Used to Be My Favorite

    This was my favorite along with Good Culture 4% but priced better. It had no aftertaste. It seemed to be discontinued for awhile and when I saw it had returned, I was so happy. But, the first container appeared spoiled. It was a watery liquid, though the expiration date was current so I didn't try it. Then, I bought one more. It had an aftertaste like most brands now. I compared the ingredients and see additives that aren't in my other favorite brand above that does not contain the additives. And now, I have just noticed my store no longer carries that. Please bring back or sell a pure ingredient cottage cheese. Thanks
