I am amazed at how easy and simple it is to use, and it's truly a rare event for me to ever actually touch a fish, which is absolutely my least favorite part of fishing. Now I don't have to :)

I've never used one that was this sturdy, well constructed, and was so easy to hold and retract! My friends call it the Cudallac, (from Cuda and Cadillac) because you can tell as soon as you pick it up, that it's made better than anything else out there. The non slip handle is awesome and allows you to dehook easily and quickly with less stress on the fish! Now, regulations require that you have a dehooker at all times. I have one on the boat and in my tackle bag.

This works well on larger saltwater hooks, but is too large for most freshwater use. The aluminum tube is about 1/2" diameter, so the hooks must be fairly large. This would be awesome for toothy saltwater fish like baracuda or bass.
