Unfortunately, these were Rancid
The size is great and the price is fine, but unfortunately, the product itself is bad. The walnuts had gone rancid so I guess I have to toss them unless I want my banana nut muffins and chocolate chips walnut cookies to help me make enemies. The Good & Gather Brand were good when they were available. Miss 'em dearly.

Stale dated extremely bad taste and smell
I bought these online thinking they would be fresh but boy was I wrong about 14 bucks for this medium bag and when I opened it to try them they smelled terrible and the taste was absolutely badly insane.. I'm gonna try to go to the actual store and see if they can exchange them. If they do I'm gonna open them there in front of them just to be on the safe side. If they are the same I'm getting my money back.

Walnuts - very unpleasant tasting
They are the worst tasting walnuts I’ve had. I don’t know if they were starting to go bad or just now they taste, but not pleasant at all. Which is unfortunate because it is a two pound bag. I won’t buy again.
