Lori Carson's CD is a record about remembering those rare moments in life when one wishes time could stop. Written as a series of connected meditations, Carson has created a score-like collection of songs and instrumental pieces that paint a life's journey. In minimal, yet lush, arrangements - guitars float on an ambient sea, as a mournful trumpet introduces a chorus of angels - the songs move gently forward, telling a story of love and loss, acceptance and hope.
