Mollie Hawkins is the author of Object Lessons: Saxophone. She has an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars, and her work has been supported by the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference. Her writing has appeared in The Rumpus, Salon, Bustle, Under the Radar Magazine, and elsewhere. She has worked in libraries, ad agencies, healthcare, journalism, education, and coffee. She is 90% coffee. She lives in greater Los Angeles by way of rural Alabama.
