[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this primarily for starting charcoal for my larger grill. It is fast, easy and works like a charm. As far as using it as a grill, it will work in a pinch. You can grill 4-5 hot dogs and 2-3 hamburger patties.

Very easy to start a fire in it and it got hot with in 15 minutes, maybe less. I grill some yummy sausage on it and was very pleased. Can't wait to use it again!

Very sturdy once set up. Awesome and convenient for cooking on the go and when finished folds up nicely for easy storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great chimney for charcoal I would recommend it to anybody I know the only problem I noticed is there needs to be a heat shield covering the plastic handle otherwise it's really great to me it's really nice that folds up you put it all your way I haven't got to use it as a grill because of the snow and my area but I read recommended to friends and family thank you

This was a great purchase and works just as well as other chimney starters and takes up less storage space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Collapsible Camp ChimneyStarter & Grill is a device I didn't no I needed until I had it! When I saw this I decided I have to get it. I'll tell you this thing is super neat! It's dual purposed. You can use it as a unit for heat AND a grill! So not only can you stay warm with this, you can also use it to grill your food. You can pretty much use it on any non-flammable surface. Sand, dirt or concrete. It's super compact. Takes up no space! Unlike the big bulky portable hibachis. There's no need for gas or propane tanks. I'm always nervous when traveling with those. If you don't bring one with this will save you the houses of having to stop and get one on the way or what have you. It cuts out all the extra work. Couple bags of charcoal in your trunk and you're good to go. I was able to set this machine up in less than 30 seconds and within 20 minutes was putting food on it to grill. It's made in such a way that it's super easy to assemble. There's really no assembly required you just kind of open it up, throw in some crumpled newspaper, set the smaller grilling rack above that, toss the charcoal on top of the grate and go ahead and light the newspaper underneath. There are large holes on the bottom of this device. Making it easy to light. . And it catches really easy. we didn't have to sit and blow on the paper or anything like that. It just did it itself! It kind of just worked on its own. When you're done it all folds up. Super simple! It has a handle on it. that doesn't get hot and you can literally carry this over to your car wait for it to cool down while you're packing up your stuff. And then when it's cool to the touch fold it back up and go ahead and stick it in whatever small space you have. Great to have in your trunk. Hubby and I are always just running off for the day or overnight sometimes we don't even know where we'll end up but having this with us we don't have to worry about it really! This is a really neat device I am so happy that I have this! Highly recommend this for the avid fisherman, camper or just people who want to go off for the day and not worry about setting up tons of stuff. A few easy steps and you're ready to cook and or get warm.
