PJ Perry and his alto sax have worked smoky bars and concert venues throughout North America and all over Europe. Through his 40+ year career he has played with such jazz greats as Dizzy Gillespi Woody Shaw, Kenny Wheeler and many others. He has also performed with nearly every Canadian symphony orchestra and recently had his own show titled the Joy of Sax. On his new album titled TIME FLIES Perry is joined by be-bop trumpet innovator Bobby Shew. Recorded live at the Cellar in Vancouver, this legendary performance is a must for any fan of classic Be-Bop jazz styles.
