Love this book! What a fun read! Being from Kansas City, I loved all the KC ties the main character has!

I loved this book so much. Great, relatable characters and numerous times that I laughed out loud.

I’m following a book club and this was the monthly pick. It was an easy read but not something I would read again. I’m a big reader and have to finish most books that I start. It has 3 chapters (100 pages each) and the entire second chapter is just email between two characters because it takes place during the pandemic. Who wants to read about that? We lived it! And to give a timeline of their daily activities in a pandemic? Chair yoga? How old is this character? I also didn’t want to read the political views throughout the book even when it has nothing to do with the story line. The character development was poor. The author just throws a lot of backstory at you randomly and none of it was interesting. The main character wasn’t interesting!

A little confusing at first. A lot going on, however, a good read.
