The petite sirah, syrah, cabernet sauvignon, and zinfandel grapes used to make this red California wine are harvested in the early hours of the day from a variety of California vineyards before being masterfully welded together with love and precision to create the striking symphony of Saldo. This bottle of red wine features bold aromas and flavors of dark fruit, dried black berries, vanilla, raspberry, and mixed spices leading to a smooth, luscious finish. Barrel aging for 14 months in a combination of new French, American, and Hungarian oak as well as neutral barrels brings out the full flavors of this delicious red wine, adding to its exquisitely smooth palate. Pair this red wine blend with grilled meats, smoked cheeses, and charcuterie, or enjoy a glass of wine on its own. Rich and bold

Beautiful blend, rich bold taste with a nice finish. Pair as well with meats. Strong aroma and very enjoyable. Good to serve with a nice steak. My guests thoroughly enjoyed this blend.

Great priced red blend

The color is a deep opaque ruby red. Heavy spice notes on the nose. Tobacco, peppercorn, and licorice were the main notes on the bouquet with just a touch of cherry. On the palate there was bright acidic cherry with immediate tannins. This turned into a lovely plum, blackberry, and pepper combination. The fruit notes lingered and there was a smokey leather finish. Overall this was a fun wine, I loved the fruit and spice together, that combination is always an adventure for the senses. This is a wine you can have in a pairing or enjoy on its own.
