Many 1:24 models include opening hoods, doors, and trunks. 1:18 models also list opening hoods and doors and may feature steerable wheels. The 1:43 listings generally do not have opening parts.

They are primarily die-cast metal with some plastic parts; some listings simply list the material as 'metal'.
