draft picks

Most draft boosters contain 15 cards plus a token or advertisement card. A common rarity breakdown is 1–2 Rare or higher, 3–4 Uncommon, 9 Common, and 1 Land. Some packs may substitute a Common with a Traditional Foil or include a Full‑Art Land in a percentage of boosters.

Collector boosters generally contain 15 cards plus an art card or foil token and emphasize premium treatments. They commonly include many foil cards, extended‑art or alternate‑art versions, and ultra‑rare headliner foils, and they often have a different rarity distribution with more Rares and Mythics than play/draft boosters.

Draft boosters can include special treatments such as at least one borderless card of Uncommon rarity or higher, Traditional Foil cards (often replacing a Common in about one‑third of packs), and occasionally Full‑Art Lands in a reported subset of boosters.

Draft boosters typically contain 15 cards plus a token/ad card. Commander‑style or other specialty boosters often list higher card counts (for example around 20 cards plus a token/ad) and use a different rarity mix, including more legendary or unique cards.

Boxed draft kits commonly use the Pick‑Two format. Each player starts with three play boosters. For each pack, players open it, choose two cards, then pass the remaining cards to the next player; repeat this process until all packs are drafted. After drafting, players build 40‑card decks (adding basic lands) and then play matches.

Boxed draft kits use the Pick‑Two method: players start with three play boosters, open a pack, pick two cards, pass the remainder, and repeat this process until all starting packs are drafted.
