Sizes vary: lengths range from about 1.63 to 8.5 inches and widths from about 1.54 to 4.25 inches. Common formats include A2 greeting cards (5.5 × 4.25 in) and smaller exchange/mini cards around 1.63 × 1.63 in or about 2.625 × 4.5 in.

They cover seasonal holidays (Christmas/Winter), Valentine’s Day, and birthdays. Recipient tags include friend, family, pet owner, and general/anyone, and there are also classroom-focused valentines for kids.

Many cards are printed on heavyweight 270 gsm card stock and on FSC- and SFI-certified paper. Envelopes are commonly heavyweight 95 lb. Several cards are individually wrapped in compostable PLA sleeves that meet ASTM D6400 and EN 13432 standards.

Many of the cards are blank inside and uncoated, ready for handwritten sentiments. Several specific holiday and birthday designs are explicitly noted as blank inside.

Decorative accents include brightly printed multicolor artwork, printed designs, and embossing. Some sets specifically highlight a hand-embossed envelope as a featured detail.
