Notepad refills use several mounting options: removable sticky adhesives that stick securely and remove cleanly; stronger “super sticky” formulations with roughly twice the holding power for vertical surfaces; pop-up accordion-style pads made for pop-up dispensers; and magnetic-backed pads for attaching to metal surfaces.

Notepad refills are offered in various rulings, including college/lined, narrow-ruled, unruled (plain), quad/graph paper, and some specialty rule formats labeled as “Special.”

Standard sticky notepad refills adhere securely and can be removed and repositioned cleanly. Super-sticky versions advertise roughly twice the sticking power and are designed to stick and re-stick on vertical surfaces like walls or windows. Many sticky options are also recyclable.

Refill pages are generally made from paper. Some planner covers and organizers use leather-like materials such as durable PU leather.

Pop-up refills use an accordion-style construction so sheets dispense one at a time from a pop-up dispenser. They’re designed to work with pop-up dispensers and use adhesives suited for paper pads and planner formats.
