Common offerings include rolls with 20 pre-cut strips (typically 10 inches), smaller “fast pack” packages with four pre-cut strips, and some products listing 10-inch by 2-inch pre-cut strips.

Some tapes specify up to 180% stretch for full-range motion; others describe a stronger elastic core and general stretch-and-recoil performance without giving a precise percentage.

Many athletic tapes are described as hypoallergenic and latex-free; some also specify zinc-free or natural-rubber–free formulations to reduce the risk of irritation.
