How do I create or edit a Target Shopping List?

Create & Edit on Target App

  1. Open the Target app. 
  2. Select My Target on the main page.
  3. Select Lists & favorites.
  4. Use the default My shopping list or select Create to Create a custom list.
  5. In My shopping list:
    • To add an item: Scan an item’s barcode, or select Add to enter the item name into the open text field and select Done.
    • To remove an item: Swipe the item left and select Delete. To delete all items, select the three dots at the top of the page and select Delete all. Select Delete all to confirm.
    • To change quantity needed or purchased: Select the item and then adjust the amount.

Create & Edit on Target.com

  1. Access your Target account.
  2. Select Lists from Hi [Name] drop-down menu. 
  3. Use the default My shopping list or select Create to Create a custom list.
  4. In My shopping list:
    • To add an item: Select Add Items for suggested items or use the search bar to search for items. From the Product Detail Page select Add to list.
    • To remove an item: Select the three dots next to the item and select Delete. To delete all items, select the three dots at the top of the page and select Delete all. Select Delete all to confirm.
    • To change quantity needed or purchased: Select the item and then adjust the amount.

Error Adding Items to Shopping List
Please note, there's currently a 250 item max for Target shopping lists, including items that have been checked off as completed. If you're over this limit, deleting items from your list should do the trick.
