Q: Will it block out rain on our porch? Please, can it be mounted on the exterior upper near the flashing? Thanks in advance.

  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. Our roller shades are mainly for blocking sunlight, not rain—rain exposure may shorten product life. Exterior mounting near the flashing may be possible if the surface is suitable and installed per instructions, but we still do not recommend rain exposure. For rain protection, please use a dedicated awning or weatherproof solution.
