    Lives up to the brand name

    My father built one of these back around 2007 to store his riding lawn mower, needing somewhere to park it in our garden. It was easy enough for him to build by himself and lived up to its name as in 2026 its still holding together quite nicely. there are of course some small things that have worn out since then such as the roof panels sagging with age, and a few screw mounts have ripped out of the wall; but regardless its been such a solid shed that i felt inclined to leave this review so that others can get a sense of the actual quality long-term. Unfortunately my dad passed away not too long after building this, but I'm sure he knew it would still be standing today (he was the guy who researched everything he bought for weeks before making any purchases). anyways long story short this has been a great investment in our yards usefulness and appearance.

    Exactly what I needed.

    I just bought this shed so I could organize my garage. It's going to work perfect. I was able to assemble it by myself in 4 hours.

    Nice Looking Shed, Professional Assembly OK

    We haven't put any of our stuff in it yet. Looks nice, except for the door alignment. I can't get the left door to open as the securing mechanisms are stuck. We couldn't be here when the professional assembler finished the job or I would have definitely pointed that out to him. We paid a lot for this service, so I'm not too happy that I have to go back and tweak or fix a few things, if I am even able to do so. It's raining today, but if I can get the door alignment straightened out and the inner door mechanisms to work in the near future, I will submit a revised review.

    Assembly Review

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are pleased with the product. The shed was finally assembled during the holidays. There were some issues with the assembly. There was a shortage of the screws used to mount the trusses (DTK). YouTube videos for the assembly of this shed followed a different order of instructions than what the printed instructions provided. It would be nice if more of the hooks were provided to hang gardening tools. I recommend that silicone caulking be used to cover gaps that may exist to prevent moisture/water seepage (photos). Added straps to secure shed to hooks inserted in a concrete slab below shed for storm season in FL (photos).

    Great outdoor shed for my lawn mowers and other things

    I bought this shed to free up room inside my shop. After measuring the items I wanted to move into a shed we decided on the 8x12.5 shed. I pre assembled the parts I could the day before in my shop then my wife and I assembled the shed the next day. Took us about 3 hrs to complete.

    Not as solid as expected

    Inexpensive Outdoor Storage

We wanted to provide some covered storage for our existing tenants to park their bikes and store a few items. This Lifetime Shed was a great solution.     Great value

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently assembled the Lifetime Resin Outdoor 8’ x 12.5’ Storage Shed and have only had it up for a couple of days, so I can’t yet comment on its long term durability or performance in different weather conditions. However, first impressions are excellent. For the price, it’s a great value the materials feel solid, the overall appearance is clean and attractive, and it offers a generous amount of storage space. Assembly was fairly straightforward with detailed instructions and well fitting parts. While time will tell how it withstands the elements, so far I’m very pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality shed at a reasonable cost.

    Easy Assembly

    The instructions were extremely clear with great detail. I would emphasize how important it is to make sure you have all of the adequate tools prior to starting. Additionally, most of the assembly is made easier with a second person.

    Structure is sound but doors need improvement

    I have an old 6x8 lifetime and the doors are much better than this model. They had spring loaded deadbolts on left door instead of these friction things that are hard to use. Instead of a failure prone spring loaded latch, it used a simple but strong slider deadbolt. Also there is too much play in the top to bottom fitment of the doors allowing debris to blow in. I have shimmed and adjusted but the reality is there is too much play between top and bottom so the gap will be somewhere.
