Love the Bass, Sound and Clarity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clean, nicely made, love the black color. First impression nice quality! Then you download the app, set it up and surprise! Great sound, clarity and bumping bass. Kids were watching a movie, and I had to come downstairs to see what he sound was, and it was the subwoofer making the movie experience great!

Satisfied with the product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Neatly Designed, This fits well with my Entertainment room design. I liked the light indicators at the front of the bar, as I wasnt really fan of digital displays as it makes it look cheap. Sound Quality is as expected from Yamaha, I have owned an SR-B40A and both sound systems deliver good sound quality. Bass is not muddy, just the right balance.

Sweet and crisp sounding soundbar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a sweet and crisp sounding Sound Bar with excellent audio quality. The sound stays the same crisp even higher volumes. The dialogue is clear and the best part is you can connect your phone to your sound bar. One downside would be if you connect your iPhone to your Sound Bar and if you stop playing music, the Sound Bar stays connected to your phone. Have to manually connect to TV using your remote or your app, but it's a feature of AirPlay, so there's nothing to complain about the Sound Bar. It's way better than other competition products.

Not Yamaha Quality
I'm really disappointed with the software experience of this product. It doesn't support MusicCast app. Also whenever the speakers turn on or off there is a loud sound effect that cannot be disabled. Not ideal for a bedroom setup, which is where you might choose it for the price. Just overall I was disappointed by this product, expecting Yamaha quality, but it feels like Yamaha slapped their name on a Chinese product that doesn't even work in their ecosystem. The sound is good though.

Subwoofer won't sync with Soundbar
I really wanted to like 50A as I had a a 209A for years. When off it randomly goes on for a few seconds, turns off, then randomly goes back on. Now the sub won't sync. Tried cold boots, rebooted the network and nothing! The app isn't helpful either. You can do better Yamaha!

Great sound and bass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the the soundbar with PS5, TV and for music. It's great for movies and the PS5. Love the range of the bass and soundbar quality is excellent. It was very easy to set up. For music it's pretty decent and sounds really good. My room is 12x14 and it's perfect for that size of room. The room opens up to the dining room and kitchen and the sound beyond the main room is decent but if you're looking for a system for a bigger room this may not be the right system for you. Great system for the price point . Very good quality and love the bass it puts out.

Sounds Great

Nice look and fit and finish are spot on . Indicator light are a little small but once you've use it for awhile it's easy to remember what each light means .

Great acoustics and value priced

Excellent Soundbar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent sound bar. I have been able to connect it to my TV via HDMI. I've also been able to seamlessly connect to my phone and laptop via Bluetooth. The instructions provided were very clear, so you don't have to be particularly tech savvy to use the soundbar. It sounds great and the subwoofer's bass is fantastic. I've mostly used the sound bar to play music. It'd cool if the speaker could get a bit louder, but I'm sure it's loud enough for most people.

Great sound, poor App interface.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Yamaha True X Bar was very easy to set up.The sound quality is very good. It has a good amount of Bass even with the subwoofer turned off. The soundbar Smartphone App needs updating. It is a little difficult to navigate. The bluetooth functionality of the soundbar is nice. You can share music very quickly and it sounds very good. All in all, the sound quality is amazing and is a good price for the quality of sound.

Amazing sound

HOME THEATER

With the amazing Dolby Atmos function, you can literally hear sound emanating from all around and above you. As immersive as being in a movie theater, it enhances action films and television series! Although the wireless subwoofer doesn't take up much room, it produces audible, deep bass. I adore that it's wifi, eliminating the need for untidy connections. I was genuinely pleased by the setup's adaptability. A real surround sound experience can be achieved by adding portable wireless surround speakers, which are portable enough to be moved to any location. An enormous benefit is having Alexa built in and I also control everything on my app on my phone .

Beautiful sound, but apartment owners be cautious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an incredible sound setup! The process to actually set it up was a little difficult, but I eventually figured it out. The sound that comes from this is beautiful and feels like it's all around you. I also really appreciate that you can use the speakers as surround or solo…but if you have an apartment, beware! Im not super u to sound and all the equipment that comes with it, but if you are, this is your jam. As amazing as the sound is, it can be LOUD and will likely travel through the walls to your neighbors place. So just be careful with that. Overall, great system! This item was given to me to sample.

The perfect addition to your TV set-up!

Patience Needed for Set Up
