I have used JD sausage for about 3 years . Always loved it but about 6 months something changed. I threw out the first sausage because it looked so bad. Not the same quality. It had so much white stuff in it. Looked really “scrappy”. It has been like this for my last 3 Purchases. I will not buy JD sausage again unless it looks safe to eat.

My go to for breakfast and otherwise. Just the right blend of spices with a kick. For kids, we'll blend in one regular, but hubby and I prefer the hot. Consistently great quality.

I used to make this regularly years ago, it stunk up the house. I physically got nauseous from the smell. I did not consume it.

Great taste and you can make multiple portions if you size them just right so you get that bang for your buck. I suggest using a ziplock to keep that fresh taste for longer.

The sausage has no taste. Hot means hot. This taste like eating ground pork made into hamburger patties. No taste at all very disappointed.

Prior to this most recent purchase of Jimmy Dean Premium HOT breakfast sausage, it's the ONLY brand allowed in the home. Awesome in everything, from breakfast to dinner. I have to say this batch is full of H20 and flavorless. It could be multiple reasons why it's not holding up to the brand standard. If the ingredients have changed, I hope this is not what your intention was. YIKES! Will I try again? Absolutely, only once~maybe twice just to make sure this batch is gone!
