why is it gritty. Like all they did was add protein powder to their juice. It tastes nasty like I am drinking beach sand. and then it leaves behind a weird coating on your tongue.

Not a great taste
It was not good at all. Very chalky and has a protein aftertaste which is to be expected but this one in particular is veryyy strong. I do love this brands regular smoothies, though. I just wouldn’t recommend this one.

Tastes Gross
This tastes disgusting. I normally get the regular naked smoothies to have for breakfast at work and I love them; they taste so good! I thought I'd give the protein one a try to help keep me full for longer, but I couldn't drink it. It tastes so disgusting. It's chalky and you can basically taste a protein powder mix the company must have just dumped in the bottle. I barely taste the fruit flavors. I tried to chug down as much as I could today as to not let it go to waste, but that was torturous. It's really gross and I won't be buying it again, especially considering they're a bit expensive in the first place.

The only flavor I like!!
This is the ONLY protein juice I like. Yes it's thick and 'chauply' like the majority of protein shakes, but it's a great flavor if u love berries. Not many grocery stores carry this particular one, Target is the closest, but also costs more than another store..unless it's on sale, then I stock up. The Target by me doesn't properly remove expired ones (like most grocery stores) so I can't ever use drive up ordering again as employees don't care and I've received expired ones. YUCK, so I have to go in any way to get non expired food.

Love the nutrients and flavor. Texture is definitely thick, others say chalky but I'd say more like a typical thick protein shake. Even my 2yo loves these. We also drink Green Machine but this one for the extra protein. If you like the typical powder protein shake texture you'd be fine with this. If you're looking for juice like texture looke elsewhere.
