Description

Feel good about what you're eating when you cook up Alaskan Keta Salmon Skinless Fillets from Good & Gather™. These frozen salmon fillets were wild caught in Alaska through sustainable methods so you can feel confident about your environmental impact and the taste you're enjoying. They also provide 29 grams of protein and 1150mg Omega-3s (890mg EPA and DHA) per serving to help you hit your nutrition needs. Enjoy the fillets as your main course with angel hair pasta or risotto, cut them up as a tasty topping for a spinach salad or a filling for tacos, or grill the fillets and some pineapple to make delectable skewers.

Salmon needs to be fully cooked.
Do not refreeze if thawed.
Do not microwave. 

Thaw
Cold Water – Place sealed vacuum pouch in water for 30 minutes until completely thawed, then immediately remove from pouch.  If not using immediately, remove fish from pouch before storing in refrigerator.  
Refrigerator – For food safety, remove fillets from all packaging. Place in a rimmed dish; refrigerate 8 to 10 hours. 

Directions:
Skillet
1. Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in nonstick skillet over MEDIUM heat.
2. Pat thawed fillet dry with paper towel. Season as desired. Place skin-side up in skillet.
3. Cook 4 to 5 minutes; turn. Cook, skin-side down, 6 to 8 minutes until fish flakes easily with fork. 
Oven
1. Heat oven to 350°F.  Spray baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Brush thawed fillet with olive oil, season as desired and place, skin-side down, in pan.
3. Bake 16 to 20 minutes until fish flakes easily with fork. 

For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 145°F as measured by a food thermometer.  Appliances and fillet thickness may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly.  Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.

    Garbage

    I bought both the fillets with the skin on the skin off period in both packages.There was so much of the bones left behind the skin on Product apparently still has all the scales on period some of the lowest quality salmon I have ever purchased period we'll never go back again

    Goopy, Slimy Fish, Sludge

    One of the salmon portions I opened were like fish sludge. It was disgusting, literally was goop..I would hold it up it literally slid through my fingers it was like goopy slimy fish sludge. I opened the other 4 out of 5 those seemed fine. Only reason why it’s getting a 2 star

    My favorite brand of salmon with out skin!!!

    Be careful of pin bones

    This has always been my favorite salmon for years. That being said- my last several purchases have consisted of quite a few pin bones which I wasn't expecting after years of not having them. This isn't a bad thing as far as quality of fish (it usually signifies a higher quality salmon) but I do want others to be aware who might also feed this to their children or consume it themselves. Take the extra steps to thaw and remove these- I got one stuck in my mouth and it wasn't fun (as I said, I've never had them in previous years in this salmon so wasn't expecting the pin bones and didn't take the time to use methods to remove them before cooking)

    Not Good!

    I would swear this has a solution injected for the amount of moisture that was removed before cooking and the amount of moisture in the cast iron pan during cooking. We’ve made the same recipe for ages and the sauce crusts on the salmon. It was impossible to get a crisp due to the high moisture. Tasted very “fishy” compared to other brands of salmon. Not good.

    This is the best frozen alaskan salmon. No additives. The taste the texture is really good. I’m on a special diet and searching around to find Salmon that’s fresh without additives is really hard. I recommend this for those who try to eat healthy, and fresh and an excellent price.
