I like buying the baby arugula at Target for my bearded dragon, even if it doesn't last too long. It's currently the only greens he likes. Today it was extra special because I found a prize at the bottom of the arugula for my beardie! He was so excited, he woke up from his brumation for the tastey dead grasshopper. For people, definitely inspect it first, but for lizards, you might get free protein if you're lucky!

Definitely not “thoroughly washed and ready to enjoy”. No, I did not enjoy this at all! This is now the SECOND time I found a large insect inside good&gather produce over the span of 2 years. Previously it was something half maggot/half caterpillar in “ready to eat” peas. Yet somehow, I have never found a single bug in any of the other many pre-washed produce brands I purchase.
