Buy fresh produce ANYWHERE else but Target

Always rotten and they won’t even refund the full amount that it cost despite it being inedible. Ordered in a drive up order and didn’t see how bad it was until I got home, so I processed the refund through the app and only got a partial refund despite having to throw it away. Shame on you Target.

Brown slimy spoiled lettuce

Brown slimy lettuce was received. It was very easy to see and the shopper gave me spoiled food anyway. When I called to report it no one at the Bridgewater, New Jersey store answered both attempts. Awful! Now I have to go to a regular grocery store to replace all of the spoiled produce Target gave me anyway.

Spoiled Lettuce

I selected one star because the system requires a rating in order to leave a comment. I truly appreciate the effort that goes into shopping for others. However, this is the third week in a row I’ve received lettuce where most of it was unusable due to spoilage. I completely understand that mistakes can happen, but attention to product quality is really important. I would just ask that a little extra time be taken to check freshness before selecting items. When produce isn’t usable, it impacts both the customer experience and the business.
