Not whole leaves!
I picked this up through an online order. Had I seen it in the store, I never would have bought it. I have not opened it because I hope to take it back for a refund, but I can see that I have broken leaves. Crumbs. You are not supposed to eat bay leaves - how would I get these tiny pieces out of the pot? Target needs to do better! I wish I had read the reviews before buying.

Broken pieces, unusable. Cooking with whole bay leaves, you have to remove before eating. These were crammed into the container. If they weren’t already broken, they were in bits when they arrived. Ridiculous

I wanted WHOLE bay leaves for my Recipie. Bottle stated whole but they were all crushed. You cannot use them because you do not eat them. They are to be removed before serving Never again good & gather brand!

Just a few leaves
If your recipe calls for bay leaves you’ll receive a few in this container. Maybe 10 or so are sealed in plastic inside the plastic container and they are fairly brittle. When attempting to pull out a leaf I broke another. If you need to have basil it is likely best to get the crushed version versus the full leaves.

All the leaves were broken and there was barely any it’s embarrassing that I bought this for that price. No wonder they wrap it in plastic to put it in there if it came with just the leaves it would look almost empty. Complete rip-off

Can be used sparingly as these have a pungent fragrance; and did not come shattered with a lot of pieces. So many recipes can be added another depth of flavor with these savory leaves. (Really good in soups!) Excellent quality!
