Frozen Italian-Style Vegetable Blend - 12oz - Good & Gather™

This Italian style blend is supposed to contain Italian green beans. While the blend did indeed include green beans, they clearly were not Italian style. Italian style are flat as shown on the packaging and taste better and are generally higher end/more expensive than the traditional green beans that were actually included. Having worked 20 years in the field of Quality management, I am simply baffled on how this could have passed their Quality Control checks. This is food after all - it is actually important that the right ingredients and only the right ingredients get into our food! Sure, I understand that in this case it was just one type of green bean swapped with another type of green bean, but what if it had been soy beans (often unshelled look similar to green beans) or another allergen that had been included instead? This is where someone could get really sick or even die from an allergic reaction if not careful. Good & Gather - I generally enjoy your frozen veggies (especially the organic broccoli), but this situation is making me rethink if I purchase any of the blends going forward. I feel like as a consumer I was ripped off a bit and didn’t get the product that I had purchased, and it makes me nervous that one of your products could actually include any ingredients and not just the ones that are listed on the packaging. At least this ingredient I was actually able to see (and your employees should have been able to as well!), but I am more concerned with what G&G could be adding to products that consumers can NOT see? It truly makes you wonder. I genuinely hope this is a one off and no other products are suspect.

Used to be my favorite frozen veggie mix. They’ve since replaced Italian green beans with regular green beans for like 6 months ongoing now and it’s now MOSTLY just regular green beans with some of the other vegetables and the only broccoli that ever is included now is just a few pieces stems. Of course the labeling and packaging has in no way been updated to reflect these changes. Bring back the actual product you are advertising! That was a five star product!

These vegetables were perfect in a stir fry that we made for dinner. Just throw them in a frying pan with some noodles and sauce and it’s great!

The idea of this blend is a good one. The actual product? Not so great. I bought 2 bags. Each of them had exactly 1 broccoli and cauliflower floret a piece. Granted, it was a large floret, but not large enough to actually serve everyone some broccoli and cauliflower.

This is the THIRD time I have purchased these frozen vegetables, and have only seen TWO florets of broccoli in the bags. I EXPECT there to be more broccoli than CAULIFLOWER in these mixes. Whoever is rationing the BROCCOLI in these bags, needs to be taken aside, and given a STERN talking to.

Good and Gather has created another unique and delish item! Love the mix of veggies in the italian blend frozen veggies! We really like italian cut green beans -which are kind of hard to find and really like the squash and carrots and how they are cut thin. this blend does great in the microwave! Thank you for this great product!

Love these! I bake/broil them in the oven. They're perfect for my meal prepping!

These used to be decent for the price, but recently the bags are mostly dried out broccoli stem chunks, and a lot of the snap peas have brown areas on them, or are just broken pieces of the thin outer skin from one side of a pod. The flavor is very lacking compared to name brand items in the same freezer.
