Expired....again!!!!
I purchased two packages for drive-up pickup, along with all the ingredients for that evening‘s meal. Both boxes were expired by a month!! This has happened before with other products. The whole idea of drive up pick up is for convenience, and it is not convenient… and in my case this time, not an option … having to go back out to the store. Target needs to do better not having expired items on the shelf and also training their shoppers to inspect the product that they will be putting in the customer’s order. Like I said, this isn’t the first time it happened. I’ve gotten moldy strawberries, and expired coffee creamer recently. Between my 40 hour week job, maintaining a household, babysitting, grandkids, and taking care of elderly parents, every minute is precious and spoken for. I know I’m not alone, we are a busy society and look for conveniences like pick up. But it is not a help when I have to spend time returning the product and re-buying.

This was so gross. I bought it for convenience and i made a recipe with it that i’ve made 100 times, meaning I wasted a ton of food because all of the chicken was bad. Didn’t notice until i went to eat it because it looked fine. It was full of hard chunks. Also turned my fingers yellow when i touched it. Seriously gross.. do not buy.

Mistake Becomes A Staple
This is an item that I didn’t purchase. It was accidentally put into my bag for a drive up pickup. (Sorry Target lol). I didn’t realize it until I saw it in the freezer the next day - which was when my son informed me he put it there when helping put away groceries the night before. I had actually been scanning for something to make for a quick snack or appetizer and had been considering some quesadillas- so when I found this item I decided to make some shredded chicken quesadillas and wow! What I prejudged as probably some overpriced and bland chicken turned into a very reasonably priced and perfectly seasoned shredded chicken that went from being a mistake and turned into a kitchen staple! In fact, after this most recent purchase (never made it to the freezer) I have decided to buy in multiples. It just happened to be quesadillas that we used it for the first few times, but I already have plans to use it in other recipes now that I am aware and confident in the taste and quality. Delicious! Chicken is seasoned very nicely. You get a log of chicken. Some are in chucks & some are shredded. I paired this chicken with teriyaki sauce, rice, and veggies. So good! You can eat it hot or cold, which is very convenient.

Expired. Didn’t get to try. When I contacted customer service, I had to send pictures of the date. Which is totally fine, but something I’ve never had to do before when I’ve let them know- I certainly was not lying. It was the second g&g expired item in my purchase that I noted them about. Disappointing. More of a comment on the store and my own eyeballs not checking. I’ll keep an eye on dates next time.

Delicious and Very Convenient to Have on Hand
This is the most handly thing on the planet to buy multiples of and freeze into portions. I use it in my homemade chicken noodle soup, I used it in my homemade chicken pot pie, and Ive used it for chicken tacos. I usually buy one packaage of each one the rotisserie one and the plain one, portion out into 2 servings per package and just pull one or two out of the freezer as I need them. The flavor is great and makes dinner time so much easier!
