Cooking Instructions
1. Remove packaging and slice thawed sausage roll into 16 thin patties.
2. Add to skillet.
3. Cook over MEDIUM heat, turning occasionally, for 13 to 18 minutes or until browned and no longer pink inside.
For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 165F as measured with a food thermometer.
Do not microwave. Appliances may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly.
Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately."

Hard pass!
I purchased two rolls of this sausage and prior to the expiration date I tried cooking it. I noticed immediately the color, texture, and smell was off. It was very clumped and wouldn’t separate easily. Very disappointing, target! I purchased target chicken breast in the same shopping trip and they were pretty much inedible…not sure what’s going on with Targets meat department/supplier.

I was hopeful- because it was more reasonably priced. But found some weird bits in the sausage and I threw it all out. We made pancakes instead for dinner- just weird. Should have gotten a pic but didn’t- idk if I will ever eat ground sausage again. It was gross like “tube” looking body part.

Surprised to read the reviews about it being too spicy. My mom is 77 years old, we don't like spicy at all. We didn't think this was, in fact, I added a little black pepper to it. Also, ours did have an expiration date sticker that others said was missing. I took one star off because it doesn't patty together very well, it breaks up easily. Overall, good value for what it is.
