Q: Do the bots keep buying it all up?

submitted by Sahir - 5 months ago
  • A: Yess it’s annoying I can never get anything from this

    submitted byJaimejr193 - 4 months ago
  • A: Yup, they do buy it all up.

    submitted byG3L0 - 4 months ago
  • A: Yes! The bots continue to purchase these all up.

submitted byGuy - 4 months ago
  • A: I had this in my cart and it would not let me pay for it by the time I try to pay for it was sold out target you’re so pathetic

submitted byJoshua - 5 months ago
  • A: A simple CAPTCHA would resolve all of this......

submitted byjordan - 5 months ago
  • A: Yes Target does not prevent them from doing so.

submitted byTrujakt - 4 months ago
  • A: So this is more of a response but its to Targets advantage to sell these out right away so the resllers can sell them on the Target site for double and triple the price and Target gets paid again!!

submitted byGinothemachino - 4 months ago
  • A: i was somehow able to beat the bots you just gotta apple pay and pray it goes through how i got one

submitted byYatara - 4 months ago
  • A: Yes, Each drop likely takes 2 seconds; no human can check out before the bots.

submitted byTarget - 5 months ago
  • A: Yes and customer service is zero help

submitted byFrustratedMama - 4 months ago
  • A: Yes. And Target will delete your legitimate questions in hopes all of us customers won’t see it.

submitted bybEStBuYlimItSThEiRs - 5 months ago
  • A: I FINALLY GOT ONE!!! After many many many many many attempts I was able to click my way to victory over the robot scalpers to secure a single box!! Let us revel in the triumphs of flesh over circuitry! I consider this a victory for every one of us!

submitted byThe squishy victor - 3 months ago
  • A: If you go to store in person you have better chance of getting it first thing in am at the customer service desk

    submitted byAf68 - 4 months ago
  • A: Yes, bots keep buying them all. Cuz they have no queue system like Walmart or other places.

submitted byJ - 5 months ago
  • A: Secured 24 units of this. Lmk selling at $250 a piece or 495 each if buying more than 12

submitted byDrake - 5 months ago
  • A: There are sheep and wolves in this world. They're not scalpers, they're opportunists. They want it more than you do buy putting in the work to learn to use a bot when you can do the same. Capitalism

submitted by - 4 months ago
  • A: If you missed out I secure several units, 14 available at $250 per box. Get in the investment before it’s too late.

submitted byDrake - 5 months ago
  • A: Yes I got 16 so far since it released.

submitted bySherm Joey - 5 months ago
  • A: Second it came up I had it in my cart. Did not even allow me to pay it sat in there for ten minutes as I tried desperately for them to allow my checkout. What a joke

submitted byEQL - 5 months ago
  • A: I don’t think so. I’ve been able to hit online. As long as you hit notify me when in stock. It’ll tell you when it’s available and gives you time to buy it

submitted byCheechguwop - 1 month ago
  • A: No. But JCapper Did.

submitted byMEGA NOTIFY - 5 months ago
  • A: Yes we are buying it all up.

submitted byBots - 2 months ago

Q: This product is for sale less than 1 second and pre-orders have sold out. There is no moderation and bots just buy the product and resell it for a substantial profit. I want one, just one for my kid for Christmas.

submitted by Eric - 5 months ago
  • A: I’ve had this item in my cart five times, and every single time it will not process my payment and then it removes it from my cart. This is honestly absurd. When something is in your cart, you need to allow people to actually check out. Fix this, or you’ll just be left with the bot buyers who don’t purchase anything else but these cards.

submitted byThe Card Whisper - 4 months ago
  • A: What do you expect? You can't actually expect "everyone" in the whole country to stop buying over MSRP. They need more protocols to prevent, they arent even trying.

submitted byJames - 5 months ago

  • A: I've seen them lately at 199.99game stop obviously over msrp but they did have them better than the worst of the worst scalpers

submitted byNeed a bot - 4 months ago
  • A: My son wants one for Christmas- This feed is helpful and lets me know that we will have one disapointed kid- They are going for double and tripple the price- and bots have purchase all of them )

submitted byNow I know - 5 months ago
  • A: If a company worth 41 billion dollars can’t figure out a solution to counter the bots, it’s because they choose not to. They don’t care about who buys product as long as it’s bought.

submitted bybEStBuYlimItSThEiRs - 5 months ago
  • A: Buy it from a scalper, and fund that market.

submitted byDrake - 5 months ago

Q: Why don’t you do it app only so the bots can’t buy? I’m a collector and cannot get an order through with all the bots clearing out the stock in two seconds

submitted by Jim - 5 months ago
  • A: Definitely should be app only

submitted byLg - 5 months ago

  • A: Because target does not care as long as they get money

  • A: Bots can still buy on the app by emulating an android device on a pc with Bluestacks. Companies need to add limitations, that's all that can be done.

submitted byUnemployed spam refresher - 5 months ago
  • A: I was able to get 2 of these whe the pre-order went out, one for each of my boys. No bot, just was lucky I guess.

    submitted byins0 - 5 months ago

Q: So your I.T. people at target just don't work? Or just when they want? Orrrrrr????

submitted by General questions - 5 months ago
  • A: Target does really well at preventing bots woth shape antibot, the issue is bot makers livliehoods are to create the most humanlike bot, and most bots dont work, but the best ones do and fight cat abd mouse with antibot makers.

    submitted byMsrp4l - 5 months ago
  • A: They give absolutely zero craps about us customers. I have called, emailed, reviewed, even went in person to talk to management. They seem to have no interest in fixing this problem

2 weeks of no delivery. Lack of transparency with target, terrible website to buy from, bots.

this item would have been great if target gave the item to UPS however they never did and its sitting in some target warehouse the last two weeks and like ya know target took the $130 + tax from my account. Customer service refuses to give any form of transparency, only offers me a measily $10 inconvenience promo as if they havent basically stolen $150 from me, have a terrible website with even managing to get a order because of stupid bots buying up inventory so obviously I dont want a refund for that reason, but then its like Im watching people get their UPC with later restocks while target still hasnt given me mine and "but they cant give me a replacement" but god they can give all these bots their orders so they can go sell these upc for $200 at some stupid card show. Like with how long I have been waiting for them to even fulfill my order and them having taken my money, I couldve gone to another major retailer and maybe managed to get one at the same msrp, but now obviously every other place is sold out because I was waiting on this stupid order. Subpar Customer service and definitely shipping when the item never even leaves their warehouse and they cant even figure out where it couldve gone, like did my item get stolen by a warehouse employee, knocked off a conveyor belt? but Apparently, "theyre investigating it", load of bologna.

Poor Shipping

box was damaged because target shipped it in an empty larger cardboard box with no protection (so it did nothing but bounce around in the inside). They will also not do anything about damaged trading card boxes through customer service FYI.
