Harry Potter x Target Sorting Hat Surprise Hot Chocolate Bomb - 2oz

Fun idea. These aren’t your typical hollow cocoa bombs. They are pretty dang solid and 1 can easily make 3 cups of cocoa. Took quite a while for chocolate to finally melt off the house portion inside chocolate but kids loved the novelty of being sorted.

Came across these and bought them on a whim. They were so delicious and the house reveal I thought was really clever. Would totally get them again or as a gift for a fellow HP fan

When I melt it down, the chocolate dissolved petty fast and smelled not bad. The chocolate itself tastes okay, pretty standard milk chocolate and kinda sweet, but the design is super fun. A bit pricey for just one bomb, but worth it for HP fans!

There is an immense amount of chocolate, I had to triple the amount of milk, otherwise it was just liquid chocolate. The taste of the hot chocolate was good. The house crest in the center was a cute idea, but unappealing with the amount of coloring. Received Blue Ravenclaw. The blue marshmallow and the blue Raven shaped sugar cube wouldn't melt due to the coloring. The Raven sugar cube could be a choking hazard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For anyone who has read or watched the Harry Potter series, this cocoa bomb gives you the opportunity to be sorted into your Hogwarts house. The cocoa bomb is quite large, and you may need to use a bowl to dissolve the chocolate, since it may not fit into a standard mug. The chocolate has a very good milk chocolate flavor, and inside there is a very colorful marshmallow that depicts your Hogwarts house. I was sorted into Ravenclaw, which checks out. There were a couple things that I didn’t love about this product. First, I didn’t like that they used so much artificial dye in the marshmallow. I do think that makes it more fun for kids, but I’d rather them use more natural ingredient. I was also concerned about the nutritional stats for this cocoa bomb. The saturated fat is 10 g per serving, which is very high. That being said, It’s fun for a special treat.

We loved the taste and finding our house BUT my only complaint is the bombs are huge and it was hard to find a mug in our house large enough for them. Also, they are super thick and honestly one of these is enough chocolate for about 3 cups of hot cocoa. If you like drinking literally straight melted chocolate (and I honestly couldn’t judge you if you do) then you’ll love this one but for us we had to add waaaaay more milk to get it to a normal hot cocoa consistency. Would love if they sold these in a mini size- maybe in a multipack of 4 with all the houses.

This was so fun to see which house this sorting hat gives to you! The chocolate was really good I really did enjoy this hot coco bomb a lot. We got griffindor and hufflepuff!

Listen, this is one of the best flavored hot cocoa bombs I have had.. but WHY was my marshmallow orange?!? I went to bite into it to see if perhaps the color in the middle was different. Nope. Bright orange. Thank goodness for the little candies on the marshmallow. Apparently it symbolized Ravenclaw. I think someone got their colors confused!

These are awesome! So much fun and the cocoa is super yummy! We did them as a family and all were sorted into different houses.
