These look nice on a wood table, and are of course durable. I had no problems with sticking, but i do not use ice in most of my drinks. I can see how it would stick if your ice cold cup is sweating, so I guess I would recommend for those who are not using for those drinks.

Sticks to cups
I’ve had these coasters for three years. I have not had them stain, easy to clean - but I wouldn’t buy them again because they are constantly sticking to my cup or glass when. I pick it up. It needs to be heavier to work and not stick every time I put a glass down
