I was super excited to receive this palm tree to use this Christmas. But…. Half the lights only worked and it looked used or returned. The lights on the trunk did not work and one was completely broken. The base was scratched and damaged. In my opinion, the damage to the tree does not look like it took place during shipping. This damage looks like it was done prior to packaging or it was return and re-shipped out. I would not recommend this tree.

Good tree if you want something different
I wanted something different this past Christmas and didn’t want to lug our old Christmas tree out of the storage closet. Regular Christmas trees take a little while to setup and decorate (which is why ours sit in the living room well past Christmas since no one wants to take it down) but this palm tree one is fantastic. Setting it up was quick and because it’s a palm tree, it doesn’t even really need decorations, it’s a highlight all on its own, but I ended up adding a few ornaments and such to make it more festive. The fronds are a little sparse so adjusting them so the tree looked full was a bit challenging but I have that issue with most faux Christmas trees. Another issue is that the tree slightly leans but not enough to be an eyesore. I’m going to see if there’s anything I can do but overall, I really like the tree and don’t see the slight lean as something worth returning it over.
