Who let the kids mess it up??
The new Lime Lemon formula sucks. That's it in a nutshell. I just have no words. I've been drinking 7up diet and zero sugar for years, and now it's undrinkable. The flavors seem gone, covered with extracts that you can smell and seem to be there to trick your brain, but my tongue isn't detecting lemon or lime anymore. It's sweetened, carbonated water with a SCENT. I've been drinking this type of beverage for 30 years and have at least 30 more in me, but THIS NEW 7up zero sugar makes me want to just go to water, not spend the money, not chase all over town for it and just forget it! Good job!!!! Absolutely hate it. If you knew what was good for you, 7up, you'd change the formula back, leave the new packaging in place and try to salvage whoever hasn't tried it yet as a customer. I honestly don't care if my local grocery store fulfills my order of 30 2 liters or not. Smh. Disgusted.

I am not sure what you did to 7up zero but it was a poor choice! I buy in 12oz. Cans and it is flat, tasteless flavor. Tasteless like I am drinking water. I will have to switch to a different manufacturer.

Been drinking this for YEARS!! They recently changed the label AND recipe and I do NOT like either one. Very disappointed that I have to find a new Zero Sugar soda that I like that is also caffeine free. UGH!!! 😣

Too young to remember the "New Coke" debacle of the 80's, apparently the decision makers at 7up are too. Your tried and true, well balanced, go to mixer or all around caffeine free comfort drink has been "updated" from its bright tangy lemon forward happiness to a supposedly lime forward abomination that feels like someone substituted the tequila in a cheap margarita for liquid boredom. This change should have been rolled out on April Fool's Day so it could have been written off as a publicity stunt. Please keep these morons away from the Dr. Pepper recipes!

Way to sweet and does not have the crisp clean taste the original has. The reason why I love 7 up so much is that it is not sweet like sprite, starry, sierra mist, and the rest of them. I was so happy when zero sugar came out, but it is so sweet its nasty!!!!

I never loved Diet 7UP - I was always a Diet Sprite gal. Since 7UP Zero Sugar, I’ve made the switch (to 7UP Zero). I personally find it more refreshing, it’s more flavorful, and has that lemon lime flavor I love (that I can actually taste vs Sprite). Really enjoy the lime flavor in particular in this. I agree with other reviewers regarding the aftertaste and aspartame (which is likely the culprit). I often wish I could drink more of these a day, but I can’t due to all of tge aspartame in it. This is a well-documented unhealthy sweetener. In that regard, I ask that you care more about your customer’s wellbeing and make the switch to a healthier sweetener. Americans are unhealthy enough as it is - do us a favor and ditch the aspartame.

Near undrinkable
7up is a great drink that I used to enjoy. Got a can of 7up Zero and I almost spat it out. Spent ages trying to figure out if something was wrong but as far as I can tell they say they haven’t changed the recipe? It’s sour. Really sour, very strongly of lime, and no sweetness. It tastes more like a soda water with lime in. I’m actually confused. 7up was always my preferred drink over Sprite, but this is foul. Really sad

I love, love, love the original 7Up, and the fact that it's the uncola means it's not nearly as bad for you as most sodas, but this version of sugar-free 7Up just tastes awful. I won't even buy it. I will actually switch to Sprite if there's a choice between that and this version of 7up.

I like 7up Zero. It’s the only soft drink my husband and I like but I HATE THE COLOR of the new cans and labels on the bottles!! Who came up with such a stupid idea? You almost can’t tell the difference between the regular and zero. With the previous design it was easy to see at a glance if it was the sugar free version. Now you have to double check. Really bad design.

7UP has been my favorite lemon lime soda since I can remember. I've always preferred 7Up over other lemon lime sodas because of its crisp and natural taste. I very much like that 7Up brand provides zero sugar varieties. However I find that in my area it is harder to find set varieties of zero sugar 7up. I was however lucky enough to find the zero sugar Shirley Temple flavor. I absolutely loved it!

7up claims they didn’t change the diet 7up recipe when they recently rebranded it to 7up zero sugar. That’s a lie! I sent a bottle of diet 7up and 7up zero sugar to a lab and had them tested to see if they are exactly the same. They are absolutely not the same! Why is 7up being dishonest with their customers, and telling them these drinks are exactly the same? People are not idiots, and can definitely taste the difference! I’d suggest you return the 7up zero sugar to the store you purchased it at and get your money back! We need to stick together and stop buying this garbage, and this will force 7up to bring our original drink back! I don’t care what you call the drink, just don’t lie and say it’s the same exact drink! I’m going back to diet coke until 7up brings back the original diet 7up!

Not sure how anyone can suggest the Zero sugar or Diet 7Ups taste anything like the original full fat 7UP , I would say the same thing about all soft drinks not one Zero/diet drink tastes anything like the originals. I accidently got a 7UP Zero and just could not drink it the aftertaste was vile so ended up throwing most of it away. It would be nice if businesses were honest about these things, there are plenty of people who do like the Zeros so no sure why you all need to lie about it !
