Review Quotes
The narrative is indeed both entertaining and educational, told from a Christian perspective and targeted especially for girls 12-16 with a special interest in history. It would lend itself well to being read aloud in family and/or home-school settings. Mark Scheel
My girls (and me too!) loved Kathy J. Perry's story of Emeline, a teen thrown into facing many trials she wouldn't have chosen on her own. This book shows positive character qualities under pressure and in struggles of this life, while still showing hope and potential for joy in the midst of struggles. I highly recommend this to all teens, and adults alike! Can't wait to read the sequel! Dyson Cool
