Keep Bugs Out of Your Oil Lamp! Our mantle saver heatshield keeps bugs, who are naturally attracted to light, from dropping down the chimney and breaking your mantle. Also, the top dome or smoke bell dilutes the heat that pours from the chimney, reducing clearance to combustibles from 36" to 24". Two uses in one accessory!.
