Nonstick pan that will change your life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nonstick pan has transformed my cooking routine! It’s incredibly easy to clean—eggs slid right off without any oil or butter. I even tried making pancakes, which usually stick, and I was amazed at how easily they released from the pan. I wasn't expecting it to be this effortless! I received the product through Influenster, so I’m not sure about the price, but I highly recommend this pan!

Love these pans, BUT....
I was really excited to discover the Alva brand. I have been a user of other purportedly nontoxic cookware for many years. I do believe that Alva is as close as you can get to the most nontoxic nonstick cookware available. The performance thus far has been stellar. My one MAJOR issue is that the coating on the outside of the pans is extremely fragile. I have absolutely babied these pans over the few weeks that I have had them (I bought 3). The coating is chipped and scratched already and even just from gently scrubbing a trail of dripped food from the side. I use only nonabrasive materials. This is really not good, considering how much these pans cost. I don't know if this is unusual, or if the coatings on the outside are4 really that fragile.

Didn’t last long
We bought two of these last July. Although one has held up pretty well, the other not so much. It worked great for a few months, but now everything sticks to it despite following proper care, cooking and cleaning instructions. Do NOT recommend.

So Far So Good! They were very well packaged, they wash up very easily. They are not immune to the poached eggs leaving that film on the bottom, but other than that, they cook other things beautifully. I have only had them for 2 weeks, so we shall see how they hold up over time, but so far so good!

I purchased the 8” and 11” ceramic nonstick pans. They are good so far but I do find eggs stick to the pans. I put a little oil (as suggested) and a few times I put more oil but the eggs still stick. I havent cooked any meat in them yet. Just eggs and pancakes…

To me it feels like a hybrid between a carbon steel pan and a nonstick. The quality just surpasses my initial thoughts. I will most likely buy more. It has some weight on it, it just feel high quality.I like that the handle is metal as I can finish cooking my dishes in the over if I need to.

Performance aside, it is awesome to see a non stick pan that is both PFAS and PFOA free (typical toxins found in non stick coating) that performs better than the competition. Pan comes clean super easy by hand, although it is not supposed to be dishwasher safe. Works fantastic on my gas burner stove and prevents food sticking or burning on. Higher walls on the pan is awesome for tossing pasta in sauce without spilling over onto the stove. Pricey, and maybe even a little too pricy for a non luxury brand like Le Creuset, but performance backs the price.

It definitely has some weight to it, so it’s pretty strong. The way the handle is attached , makes it much sturdier than other pans, which I love. It cooks things very well and evenly, and the non stick coating does a great job. I would highly recommend getting this pan. Definitely my new favorite kitchen addition!
