Description

Talented singer/song writer Andreas Sundgren Lives in Burmans Musik, Umea Sweden. His album "The Road North" are the songs that finally survived two decades of song writing. Songs that somehow fit into the description of the journey. A journey started on the road north at the end of the 80s and has only come to fruition now. Other things, life, work, various sidetracks, have gotten in the way. In the meantime Swedish artists like Monia, Bj"rn Skifs and Carolina Miskovsky have dipped into the catalogue of which these songs are part. Drawing from various sources of inspiration, writers like Hiatt, Earle, Berg, Proulx and Lopez the nine songs that made it onto The Road North mirror, lament and foresee pivotal moments, crucial stories, in shaping a life. The collection is an epilogue as well as a new start. It will serve as the engine needed to make the next stretch of the journey, the next leg on The Road North.
