A: INTELLIFRESH™ (the brand of) SILVADUR™ (the antimicrobial products applied to fabrics). Sivadur is a silver ion polymer technology. From what I read, it last through many (about 50) washings!

A: its very thin- can feel the ground but its not bad looking overall. It is not plush at all (if thats what you are looking for)

The rug is soft, plush and has a strong color (we got the blue) at first. After a couple of months, it gets very flat and faded. It also doesn't dry very well. It's a great option for a cheap bathmat but keep in mind that you'll have to replace it 1-2x per year.
