AUSTIN Cabernet Sauvignon remains focused on our goal to produce a wine true to ‘Paso Robles’. On the nose savory aromas intertwine withrich dark fruit nuances. On the palate, flavors evolve into layers of juicy blackberry,spicy nutmeg, toasted coffee and fresh vanilla bean. This medium to full bodiedwine is finished with refined tannins and a distinguishable zing of acid to balance.

Blended Excellence
I am blown away how they can blend earlier vintages with current harvest to create such consistent smoothness and taste from one year to the next.. I"ve never seen anything like it! Love this stuff!!!!

Family Favorite
Although I enjoy all of the Cabernet Sauvignon offerings by Austin Hope, the Paso Robles label (Barrel 23) is our favorite everyday wine at a great price-point. This wine captures the rich taste one expects: smooth finish, rich color, great finish - this wine is sure to please; a family favorite!

One of my favorite wine purchases
This wine was just amazing. The first sip was just so fruitful and smooth, that I just kept wanting more. I’d say it’s about the right amount of sweetness - not too sweet or too dry. Definitely would want to purchase more!

Deep, smooth, red wine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hope Family Wines Austin Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles is a wonderfully smooth, deeply colored, rich, red wine. I did not find this to be overly dry or bitter. The smell is just mildly sweet with no unpleasant aftertaste. I had this after dinner before bed as part of routine to unwind but this would certainly pair well with a meal.

Nice taste!

I liked the price point for what it was. I also loved the flavor of it! I found it to be really smooth. I ended up going back for more! I recommend this one for anyone in the market for a nice cab!

Fruity and sweet

It went quite well with the meat dishes I had: I had steak on the first day and baby back ribs on the second day. I’m so looking forward to trying it again.

It is a bit on the lighter side so great to just lounge around at home and drink, or goes with light appetizers/salad. Price point is in a good range.
