Book Synopsis

Bat Pat returns with another spooky (and silly!) adventure!

A trip to the beach gets interrupted when Mr. Trotter's pants are stolen by a Fishsquach during a fishing trip. The Fogville lighthouse turns into a beacon for a ghost pirate, returning to town looking for his long-lost buried treasure. And the entire town is awakened by a horrible wailing banshee that wants to rock and roll. Join Bat Pat, Rebecca, Martin, and Leo on their many adventures helping these monsters in distress!

Trevor Mueller is a comic writer from Chicago. His latest projects are Bat Pat and Secret S.T.E.A.M. Society (Papercutz), Nexus Point and Re-Possessed (Webtoon Originals), and Magical Natalie (Arledge Press). His series, Albert the Alien, was nominated for multiple Harvey Awards. He has contributed stories to several anthologies, including Reading with Pictures (Andrews McMeel), Killer Queen, and What Fresh Hell is This (Red Stylo Media), Best of Omega Comics Presents (Pop! Bill Walko is a comic book artist and illustrator based in Portland, Maine. His work has been published by DC Comics, Archie Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Dynamite Comics ("Vampiverse"), Image Comics ("Stray Dogs"), The New York Times ("My Moments with Stan", "How a Comics Reporter Uncovers Marvels"), and a number of independent publishers. His critically-acclaimed web comic series, The Hero Business, was published by New Friday Comics, the creator-owned division of Lev Gleason Publishing. Bill recently collaborated as artist with legendary storyteller Brian Michael Bendis on "Fortune & Glory: The Musical," a new autobiographical graphic novel tackling Bendis' time writing the ill-fated Broadway show, "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark." The graphic novel was published by Dark Horse Comics in 2025. And he's already planning his next artistic adventure!

Raised on a "healthy" diet of cartoons, comics, and video games, Central Ohio-based Nate Lovett has been drawing "forever". He's worked in comics and illustration professionally since 2007, and has worked for Marvel, Nickelodeon, Random House, Viz, Hasbro, Rocketship Entertainment, Image, and Papercutz, on projects such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dungeons & Dragons, Marvel Comic Presents, Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur, Paw Patrol, Commander Tomorrow, Flawed, G.I. Joe, Bravest Warriors, Redakai, Monsuno, Hack/Slash, and more. Currently, he's hard at work developing his own all ages projects, like the action-adventure Punk Rawk Ninja.

Justin Birch is a 2018 Ringo Award nominated letterer born and raised in the hills of West Virginia. Lettering comics since 2015, he is a member of the lettering studio AndWorld Design and has worked with DC, IDW, Dynamite, Lion Forge Comics, Mad Cave Studios, Action Lab Comics, DMC Comics, Source Point Press, Z2 Comics, and numerous indie publishers. Justin still lives in West Virginia, only now it's with his loving wife, daughter, and their dog, Kirby.
