Great when it lights

I have been using Bic lighters since the late 80's. Lately I've been using the EZ Reach model. It has been disappointing in comparison to the original models. First the tank is smaller. Makes it a little slimmer in the pocket but with noticeably shorter lifespan. Second the electronic ignition sucks. Some lighters work pretty regularly however the majority that I have bought take multiple tries and a few work so infrequently that I've just thrown them away. With observable fuel in the tank. When they work, they are great for pipes. They have a more gentle flame than similar refillable butane lighters. Just make sure to alternate hands when using the new Bic Easy Reach lighters, unless you want very asymmetrical thumbs. Would be good resistance training for thumb wrestlers.

Done with them

Bought a regular bic lighter, lasted only 2 weeks. I’ve noticed that the past few months. There was a time when you bought a bic, it’d last over a month, pack a day smoker I know, and still have a little juice left, not 2025!

My mistake

Excellent product and delivered in a very timely manner. My one mistake, I thought my first order was rejected and I reordered and did receive both orders. Have no fear, Bic, I paid for both deliveries.

Barely works.

I bought this a week ago maybe, never lights on the first, or the tenth try of pulling the lever. Just stick with regular lighters. Very disappointed.

How much fluid inside these?? Nearly nothing.

It does not light on first 'click' or second 'click', MAYBE on the 3rd 'click'. . Almost NO FLUID INSIDE. A rip-off. They should be recalled. We need a refund, but who keeps a receipt of a BiC ??.

Good idea, but the quality is poor. I like the reach so you can get your lightable lit without burning yourself. If the lighter will light. I can sit for 30 seconds trying and just clicks. Tried several in the pack- same thing. Unreliable.

For Bic, I thought I was buying a good product. But right out of the package, you have to click these lighters about a dozen times for them to ignite. Nor do they reach far enough for some candles. Total disappointment.

I purchased multiple pachages of the EZ Reach lighters. They were difficult to light, much more so than the Classic Bics. Also the lighters did not last as long as Classic Bics.

I purchased a single lighter while on vacation and couldn’t be more disappointed. Extremely inconsistent performance. Sometimes will take 5-10 clicks to light.

Worst Bic product!!!

I bought a single lighter and it lasted less than a week!!!! Plus it wouldn't even light every time. It would take 5 or more clicks to even get a flame. This was purchased in original sealed packaging. Waste of money.

Sometimes works

I have purchased these lighters before and loved them but this pack didn’t last very long. I used them several times each and they just stopped working. Maybe a bad batch? They are the perfect length to light candles and much easier then the real long ones. I will purchase them again.
