I have it placed among my phlox and butterfly bush and just add sugar water. I am beginning to see daily visitors. Easy to hang on a Shepard’s hook. I have other birdfy products and I love this new addition! I highly recommend

I have used Birdfy products for many years. I have been pleased with the product and service. Over the years, I have also fed hummingbirds. When Birdfy produced a hummingbird feeder, I purchased one. I now know that the hummingbird feeder also is visited by Baltimore Orioles and another hummingbird species not found in Illinois. As a side note, I have a koi pond where I feed the birds. The camera lets me know when a blue heron is stalking my pond.

Almost impossible to take apart. I am unable to press 2 plastic tabs at the same time and pull off a slick plastic bowl. The video on their website of being able to take it apart with one hand is fake. Unable to return because it’s more than 30 days since I bought it even though it’s less than 30 days since I received it. Don’t waste your money like I did.

I have not had any hummingbirds visit yet, though my other hummingbird feeder has been quiet too, so I am hoping they return soon so I can get some nice photos (which I have had good luck with on my other feeders). The camera quality looks good overall -- the image attached is obviously a shot of a confused sparrow, but I wanted to provide SOME type of bird photo. The slight smudge on the right seems rain-related since the image is normally clear and I have no complaints whatsoever about the image quality so far. I did forget this model does not include a solar panel, but battery life has been impressive, IMO. After a couple weeks with lots of recordings from birds and squirrels, it is still at 80%, which lines up well with Birdfy’s claim of up to 2 months of use (which, again, I did not check before purchasing so I haven't been too rigorous in seeing the exact battery drain). I still might get a solar panel for this, but given you need to/should take these in more often to refill/clean, it doesn't seem like too much of an issue (charging is easy and the port is accessible). It also looks nice, feels solid, and has handled plenty of rain with no signs of water damage. Overall, so far so good and it's a solid feeder! I've recommended it to my mom who has been getting more hummers and am hoping to see what this thing can do with photos of high-speed wings flapping!

Set-up for this feeder is super simple! There are only two parts- the camera and the base that holds the nectar. As with other Birdfy feeders, it's quick and easy to add through the app. It took less than five minutes from opening the box to putting it outside. It's also small, so it was easy to find a spot for it in the yard. We tested the camera and it's excellent with clear and bright pictures. We haven't had any visitors yet, but we just put it out, so I'm hoping they find it soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hummingbird feeder! It is one of my favorite Birdfy devices. Easy to set up, easy to hang. The only one thing I did notice is that it is sometimes hard to remove the base from the top to clean the feeder, but this feature also prevents it from leaking so I gently use a butter knife to help pop them apart. I love seeing all the different hummingbirds in our area and highly recommend getting the AI subscription as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this feeder for about 2 weeks and am delighted by the clarity of the camera and the easy setup. I also love that you can adjust the camera sensitivity, that's a feature I did not expect, but really value. I have the camera in my front garden facing a busy street and have been able to adjust the sensitivity so that I'm alerted only about my little garden friends and not every car passing by. Since nectar needs to be refreshed so often I was concerned that it would be difficult to open, clean, and refill the dish, but that part has been seamless too. I'm really pleased with this addition to what is now a whole collection of birdfy devices. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always loved hummingbirds. We have tried hummingbird feeders in the past but weren't sure that they ever "worked" in our location. We almost never spotted birds at the feeder. This feeder has been a game changer. Within 24 hours of setting it up I had a half dozen visits and with a few days was up to close to two dozen visits. It's so much fun to be able to go back and view the activity. Set up on this birdfy device was quick and easy - probably the easiest of all of the devices we have used. It literally took an hour to charge the camera and then under five minutes to put the few pieces together and hang in the yard. My ONLY complaint is that because you traditionally hang a hummingbird feeder rather than mounting it, it blows in the wind quite a bit and this means that the camera detects "motion" that is actually just movement of the background because the feeder is swinging in the breeze. This means that I sometimes get a dozen videos an hour but there might only be two with a hummingbird. It's a small but annoying issue. I still ove this product!

I’ve absolutely loved using this feeder. It’s become a little moment of joy in my day to see hummingbirds stop by. I didn’t expect to feel this connected to such tiny visitors, but it’s genuinely calming and fun to watch them. It’s quickly become one of my favorite purchases!
