Bota Box Nighthawk Black Red Blend Wine - 3L Box

This is the first time I try the Black Red Blend and I really like it , I'm no wine expert, but this one is really good. It's neither sour nor sweet, but somewhere in between. If you're like me, a beginner when it comes to wine, and don't know which red wine to choose, go for this one. I'm sure you'll like it. BTW I wish I could find in Atlanta the “Botabox Riesling award 150 gold medal“ I tasted it in Rochester,NY in my friend house and really like it.,but haven’t find it here in Atlanta. Where can I find it in Atlanta ?

I am a huge Bota Box fan! I love the Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc!! And I was thrilled to find the Breeze options for both! That being said I was very disappointed with the Nighthawk Rich Red Blend. I bought this because my boyfriend likes rich red wines. We opened it and both had a taste...it was not good. My boyfriend's comment was that it had a taste of rubbing alcohol. We decide to "decant" a glass and come back to it in a bit. It was still not good. It had more of a metallic taste. Needless to say he did not drink it. I poured the whole box down the drain. I'm very disappointed.

I bought this one because the store was out of the dark malbec. Both are far better than a boxed wine has a right to be!

As a bit of wine snob, the box wine had me cautious however this has become a household favorite. My husband and I normally like very different red wines but this is one we can both agree is amazing

I would prefer a slightly less "tart/fruity" flavor...I prefer drier wines. But it's still a very good wine that doesn't cost much when you consider how much you get for the price.
