Bota Mini Pinot Grigio White Wine - 500ml Box

I buy a box of Pinot Grigio prob daily bc my husband and I both enjoy it! Lately the color is darker and it taste terrible. We have even tried different vendors and still same results. It is almost like it’s gone bad. What has happened with yall? I have singed your praises for years!

I buy this wine with regularity. Tonight, I literally dumped it down the drain. It was darker than normal, and tastes more like a badly matured mead. I love it most of the time (my go-to Pinot Grigio), but this whole box was a waste

Brought this wine on July 3, 2025 . Wine smelled of oxidization. Color was not clear in fact the color was a darker yellow

Thanks to packaging, we buy one box of wine with a reasonable price. Pinot grigio was very well balanced, fruity more specifically citrusy. I tasted it with a creamy mushroom pasta, lettuce salad with red wine vinaigrette and later with some oranges. I liked it with the salad the best.

I’ve had 2 boxes of this wine over the course of my life. The first was fine. The second one was very dark and gross tasting. Literally gagged at the first sip. Not sure if it was just a bad box.

They’re decent wines that has a pretty light taste. The white wines seem good for both sipping and cooking.

I had a glass to try but ended up drinking much more because it was way too good! Plus being able to just pour directly from the box actually made it really easy to cook with which is what I originally purchased for! 10/10 would recommend

Also, the Pinot Grigio was one of the smoothest varieties I’ve had so, far and I’ve had A LOT of wine in my life, lol. I would say if you’re a Pinot lover, having a girls night or a gathering, grab a box of Bota Wine. The flavor was also very clean, fresh and smooth on the tongue.

I typically go for the same kind every time but decided to venture out a bit and try something new. I have never had the Bota Box brand before so I thought I’d try it out as the price is about the same as other brands I go for. I chose the Pinot Grigio because I love peach flavors. It’s pretty subtle but you can definitely taste it in the aftertaste. It has a slight sweetness to it, however I do wish it was just a little sweeter. It’s pretty smooth though so I can’t complain. I would definitely try this brand again but next time I’ll go for something sweeter.
